iPhone/iPad/iPod owners, please test this

UPDATE: so far we have pretty much established that the video works on iPad 1, iPad 2 and iPhone 4. feel free to test if you run one of those devices and let us know if it is NOT working for you. but what we really need is people who have earlier iPhones, so if you have 3G or 3GS we really need you test it.. and likewise we have had no-one using an iPod Touch, so if you have it please spare a couple of minutes to help us out. we're doing this so that we can eventually provide all videos on the homepage in Apple-friendly format.

UPDATE 2: this has now been implemented on the main site. only the most recent few hundred videos have so far been encoded to the apple friendly format. it's a very server/time intensive process so it's going to take a while, hopefully not more than a week. those videos that aren't ready yet are displaying a message saying as much, while those that are should be working fine on the supported devices*.

thanks again to everyone who helped with the testing!

*just to be clear, the videos should be working on the following devices:
iPad 1, iPad 2, iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPod Touch generations 3 and 4. if you have an older iPhone or iPod they won't work.

) to the .mp4 version of the video if available.

By no means, although I have to admit the iPad 2 is pretty neat.

Looks like it's working on everything apple so far, if anyone has an iPhone 3 or iPad 1 or an iPod to test with that would be awesome.

what would the app be, just a cut down version of the site? do you generally prefer apps to say mobile versions of the site (which is essentially what it would be, just launched via an app instead of going to the browser).
