I picked this up at another forum. I haven't fact checked it but since this forum is, shall I say, more diverse, I figured I could put it here and have it fairly hashed out by folks from both sides.

I look forward to everyone's input.

Indeed. I read through the list and like what I see. But I’ll refrain from my happy dance till I see how my left leaning friends here debunk it.

I stopped when it said "increased the GDP above 3%" because it was already being misleading.

Generally speaking, I'd say the only two things of consequence he's done is get Gorsuch on the bench (really more of an accomplishment of McConnell than Trump's, tbh) and getting a tax cut bill (because it sure as hell wasn't reform) passed.

Other than that, he's been pretty impotent and inconsequential to the good economy he inherited. He's squandered what little political capital he had on Twitter spats, and 2018 is going to be a very rude awakening for him.

What because something actually happened your just going to dismiss it as misleading because it disagrees with your agenda. Yep you liberals really want to just keep the blinders on.

Say it ain’t so, what will we do now that we’re not trying to stop people who have been fighting since time began?

Did you miss where I listed his actual accomplishments? Not "increased GDP above 3%," which a) isn't linked to any policy of his (because he hadn't gotten anything of consequence passed until the corporate tax cuts) and b) Obama had plenty of quarters above 3% too. The statement itself is trying to say "Trump had 3% annual growth!" which hasn't happened and certainly won't happen this year. And when you're stuck listing "accomplishments" such as "issued an executive order that doesn't actually do anything" (but it sure sounds nice), you should know I'm right.

The only things of note that he's accomplished have been a tax cut (like, is that even supposed to be difficult to do?) and nominating Gorsuch (after McConnell pulled a stunt you wouldn't stand for if he wasn't a Republican). That's it.

The reality is that Trump has taken every caricature of Obama that RWNJs had and cranked it up to 11. "Lol Obama plays too much golf." Well now you've got a president who's on track to triple Obama's record. "Lol Obamacare was rammed through." Well, now you've had two instances of Republicans completely excluding Democrats, crafting legislation in secret, and putting it to a vote after barely any public input (in contrast to the ACA, which was a year of public debate). "Lol Obama disrespects the presidency." Well now you've literally got a guy getting into internet fights and posting memes in between watching hours of Fox News and eating McDonald's.

Of course, you don't care about any of this, because the guy's got an R next to his name. Pathetic. Some might even say... Sad!

get off the hard drugs or get back on your prescribed meds, which ever will get your brain partially functioning again
a year of debate on the ACA?!?!?

it is sad you are the stupid type of person that douchebag is talking about, proving it now thinking the ACA wasn't forced through

“Political correctness is America's newest form of intolerance, and it is especially pernicious because it comes disguised as tolerance. It presents itself as fairness, yet attempts to restrict and control people's language with strict codes and rigid rules. I'm not sure that's the way to fight discrimination. I'm not sure silencing people or forcing them to alter their speech is the best method for solving problems that go much deeper than speech.”

Sad!

a year of debate on the ACA?!?!?

it is sad you are the stupid type of person that douchebag is talking about, proving it now thinking the ACA wasn't forced through

Gee, and here I was, worried that someone wouldn't show up and prove my point for me, complete with a bullshit misleading sound bite.

You can claim whatever you would like about how many days Obamacare was deliberated and crafted, but it went through several committees, each version of it having hundreds of bipartisan amendments. I'm not saying that there was no backroom dealing; I'm saying that people like you took the stereotype of what you thought happened and cranked reality up to 11 when Republicans unsuccessfully attempted to repeal Obamacare and unsuccessfully attempted tax reform (but managed a tax cut at least).

We have the fattest poor people in the world.

I'm not rich by any stretch but I work steady, I have everything I need, and a lot of things I want.

You really are dumber than a box of dirt if you don't think it was probably the most underhanded shit ever forced on the US. They admit they obfuscated the language knowing that it wouldn't pass otherwise and relied on idiots like you that are too stupid to see what was going on, so you just get in line behind some other moron liberal and support it.

I like how "using big words" totally negates "Obamacare was deliberated and crafted and went through several committees, each version of it having hundreds of bipartisan amendments." No partisanship at all there!

How quickly the liberals forget. The whole point of pointing out the 3% is if you recall all the crazy liberals claiming that economy would plummet if trump was president. But oh lets point out that it didn't happen, and all of sudden your argument changes to well he had nothing to do with it. Funny if he had to nothing to do with it then how in the hell do you explain the liberals original argument that trump would cause it crash. Oh that right liberals have shifting morals, and don't real care as long as they sound right.

Then you got the aca. Everyone bashed trump for not getting a plan out instantly. But then you brag how long Obama took to get his plan out. Double standard much. Once again you will find any excuse to hate simply to hate.
