i've used expressvpn for my mobile devices, but usually only when traveling out of country. i wasn't concerned with speed, so i don't know if that makes a difference. i was able to use it in mainland China to connect to western websites/servers.

stay away from tunnelbear, they were just acquired by mcafee...

I've paid for https://www.privateinternetaccess.com at different periods and I'd go back if I needed a vpn. My main complaint is the affect it has oninternet speed but that's been true of most vpns that I've tried. It can be annoying to set up some of the features but overall it's amazing for the price.

There are lots of ways to pay it usually gets high reviews.
