Clock repair

Had to take my mantel clock in for repair. It was running slower and slower. The repair service was run by a father and son. Talking to the son, he mentioned his dad is getting on in years and don't know how much longer he can continue to work. I felt sorry for the son, as when his father passes he will spend the rest of his life winding up his estate.

I actually did take my wife's mantel clock in for repair and the business was run by a father/son. As soon as I saw them I remembered the punch line. Was able to work it into a conversation and waited for the groan/laugh. Nothing!! It went right over their heads.
