This is the official thread for discussing anything related to tournaments in the arcade.

I'll start things off by urging everyone to sign up to the tournaments which are waiting for more players!!

Somebody told me he made 12000 when I asked how much effort I've to put in. But when I WON the round, scores were revealed and he had made over 85,000.

they sound like a horrible person rikki! speaking of the fishy tournament, ArcariusZERO and Horanestan are starting to hold it up.. i've sent out a reminder today and i'll give them another day or two before disqualifying them.

also i'd like to congratulate xspades for his efforts in the type-off tourney which ended today. our first round was a tie at 121-121, so we had to go again, and he missed out by 1.

Did you quit at the end of the first level? The game lets you submit your score at the end of any level, but you'll get more points if you keep going.

Also, while everyone is focused on the new games, someone named wesleyiam has had the top score in Girl Power since July 24, 2006. How has no one challenged that in over 2 years!?

Submitting score was first thing I did because 444 was the only thing I saw other than 0.

Dude have you played that game? I just went and played it and I got a whopping 78 LOL besides like the description says what kinda men really wanna play that?

I've been trying since then, but 85500, 600 etc. Damn! There has to be some way.

I signed up for the Pac Man tourney, but don't own a PC joystick. I will buy one and be in on alot of the tourneys, looking forward to it

That fucking fish doesn't get bigger as per how many fishes it has eaten, it gets bigger according to score

I tried to eat bigger fish initially and scored 2110 to get first bunch of bones, but still game ended at 85608. Damn!

mOOse, I was playing 3rd attempt of Fishy tournament, made 85650 then pressed for submit, I got "rikki18 you do not have permission..... " page. What to do?

not sure.. did you leave the game page at all? if you ever go to the game page and then not submit your score it will screw up and mean you have to get disqualified.

if you didn't leave the game page then i'm guessing it's possible that it thought you were taking too long :/

with the fishy tourney I believe angra is only very rarely able to get on to the site where he/she is click to showI like the confusion & probably won't wanna get on to play the game...

Do we hold off & wait or move on?

That was in semi-finals. After that page, it kept showing my status as "playing" so I closed the window. Next time when I logged in, it was okay showing status as "play".

Does anyone else get the feeling we may never complete a 16-player tournament?

It's hard to get enough people signed up, and then it take quite a while just to complete a single round. Are 8-player tournaments the way to go?
