1992 Dream Team vs. 2012 Team USA

kobe bryant is running his yap and saying the 2012 team could beat the 1992 team. really? kobe wouldn't even start on the '92 team. it must be nice to dream. speaking of dreaming, the '92 team was a "dream team", the 2012 team is just that "a team", Team USA. they don't deserve to be called the "dream team". in this day and age of flopping, primadonnas, money hungry candy asses, these guys wouldn't stand a chance. could you see labron or kobe driving the lane on barkley? ewing has been working with howard here in orlando to improve his game. maybe i am just biased toward the '92 team because i grew up watching them play, but have also watched '12 guys play too, but there is no chance the '12 team beats the '92 team.

Actually, with steadily improving tactics and training any modern team would probably make mincemeat of any team with training and tactics that are years out of date. Feel free to denigrate the current sides, but don't make the mistake of underestimating them.

and with all this new tactics and training, the new and improved team couldn't even beat greece a few years back? the only player on the new and improved team that could will their team to a win is probably kobe. the rest haven't proved they compete, game and game out to win the big games. the big three couldn't even do it last year. this they did, with about 200 games under their belt.

Unfortunately, other countries are also improving their tactics and training, making them ever tougher opponents. You may theorise that the team from '92 would have beaten Greece but as they didn't play that particular team you won't really know.

maybe they will do something spectacular. and i`m not a fan of LaBron`s either but they could go undefeated and look good doing it.

we(USA) always think we will win it all in B-ball but the world has gotten tougher and i don`t feel we have...

look, i understand the whole world has gotten better at b-ball. i'm not arguing that, but if that is true then the usa should have gotten better, but hasn't. i will put it to you like i did to ashon, besides labron, kobe and durant, who might make the '92 team?

I'll say this, the 2012 Team isn't even in the same league when it comes to trash talking.
MJ is king, he smiles when he does it and makes the other guy look bad by reacting.
If they get past MJ, they still have to face the mouths of Pippen and Ewing. Malone doesn't even have to oepn his mouth to make you lose your cool.

The 2012 Team are amateurs at best, the '92 Team are bad!

Hockey players are smarter than basketball players... you'll never hear today's players that they could beat teams from the past... could you imagine Sidney Crosby saying that his team could beat Canada's hockey team from the summit series or even the Gretzky-Lemieux teams of the 80's... no chance !
