I dont actually think they are any more racist than the republicans that ridicule the President currently... Its just politics and a chance to get a jab in with little to no back lash....

The dems like to point out about the tea party and how radical and maybe even a bit insane but they refuse to do the same with the fringe groups in their own party who have been vocal for much longer... the GOP is no better and will pander to the tea party group all day long and not really demand they chill out...

The same goes for presidents... the dems will play the race card and victim every chance they get and say oh poor pitiful Obama and how he has withstood unprecedented amount of insults when members of the dems did just as harsh things to the previous president..

This is no different than what the GOP did to clinton during his fight in serbia and such... they asked for time tables, barked about going against the un, un just wars and so on... and made some nasty remarks about him and his family... kinda like both sides are doing now with this president...

This is all just partisan BS and neither the DEMS or the GOP give two shits about the middle class or other classes. The dems neutered the health reform to make the insurance and rich happy and they excluded themselves from this new system.... oh buth they care more about you than the republicans???? yeah believe that if you wish..

Fringe but they have been there for quite some time and hold a good amount of power within congress... true they dont have the same amount of grass roots power as the tea party but thats their fault. They did at one time just not now.
