Oh please... Former president bush had shoes thrown at him and had members of congress say he didnt care about black & that he had a hand in what NOLA during katrina.. They called clinton on the wag the dog bs and they went after presidential candidates because of their kids..
They do this BS to every sitting president and member of congress white or black. IF you really want to see injustice look at how they treat women in congress and those that run for president. The same people that a waving the bloody shirts today are the same runs that joked it up against female candidates and will continue to do so...
They just use the ( Race card) because they can and figure it will give them sympathy points.
As I said before they are against everything he does because he isnt republican... Hell some of the health care reform was drafted by republicans but they dont want the dems to get credit for it... Would not matter what race president Obama was.. He is a dem so they are gonna hate him and want him out.
|
Wow you really whiffed that one.
But yes Repulitards,,,we get it , he's black. You got on the Cain train to not appear racist, and FoxNews waved him in our faces..'Hey look we like black guys too', then along came the harassment accusations, 'Hey look, this is a Dem plot'.
The Right has gone full retard since he got into office. The TeaHadists are eating the GOP of old, and anything Obama does (even the good stuff) gets stonewalled. It's absolutely ridiculous. Obama isn't apologizing to the world, because right now they are too busy laughing at us and our right-wing retardation. You can't deny it, race is at the core. I have asked many people why this president HAS to show his birth certificate, and not one has been able to give me an honest or credible answer.

He has to show his birth certificate because that is something they can make fun about him.. no it doesn't make a bit of sense but when has that ever stopped the republicans or the dems? Its just politics not race.. they didnt like clinton and guess what he was white... they even impeached the guy and he wasn't all that bad for the economy. They dont like him not because of his stance on the issue or his race but because of what party he adheres too... If he was a republican they would be all for this health care bill that they helped to write in the first place... but he isnt so they are against it.
Oh yeah the black caucus & dems never said anything negative about bush or the handling of katrina or said he didnt care about the people of the region... no never... The dems didnt jump on that band wagon during that time.... I am not calling them racist for that either.. just they saw an opportunity and they took it. Not because of his race but because of his party...
Elijah Cummings (D-Maryland) stated: “We cannot allow it to be said that the difference between those who lived and those who died in this great storm and flood of 2005 was nothing more than poverty, age or skin color.... To the president of the United States, I simply say that God cannot be pleased with our response.”
Charles Rangel : George Bush is our Bull Connor [a reference to Alabama’s former segregationist police commissioner who had notoriously used attacks dogs and fire hoses to disrupt civil rights marches in 1963]. If you’re black in this country, and you’re poor in this country, it’s not an inconvenience. It’s a death sentence.”
Major Owens (D-New York):Bull Connor didn’t even pretend that he cared about African Americans. You have to give it [credit] to George Bush for being even more diabolical.”
Al Sharpton : If there is a person that is a symbol that many blacks organize around and organize against in this generation, it would be Bush.” “We’ve gone from fire hoses to levees,”
So no it wasnt just kayne west or some other musicians... but I guess this isnt considered ridicule or unjust comparisons....
Both parties could easily be considered sexist even towards their own candidates.. If you want to talk injustice look at some of that crap.
Yeah I realize a member of congress interrupted the president as he spoke and you wont like this but I fully support the practice of that.. I dont agree with that congressmen or that the president was or is a liar.. But for too long we have treated how congress and president like they were royalty and wish we could have the same sort of relationship that the brits have in their government where they were free to speak any time they wanted.

I don't really don't have a dog in this race, but I am curious as to what is behind the door.
What I mean is, there has been a debate behind his birth place since before the election. IF....that's an IF, he wasn't born in the US, which is required by the constitution to be President. Wouldn't he have to prove it at some point? I can't get my fucking drivers license renewed without showing my birth certificate, I would imagine someone, at some point before he took office, would ask to see his birth certificate.
Now assuming he wasn't born in the US for a moment. Did he not have to show his birth certificate before taking office? If he didn't, is it a conspiracy, that he was allowed to take office, even without showing proof? If so, who is behind it? Why wouldn't they just pick another candidate?
Like I said, I don't really care if he was born in the US or not....nor do I have an opinion as to if he was or not. I just wonder if he wasn't, why was he allowed to take office in the first place?

I wish Obama were white so morons wouldn't automatically play the race card. Can you imagine if every bad thing said about Bush was "because he was a white southern man".
Epic fail on the race baiters.

Face it the President could be blond hair, blue eyed and not drink and the Republicans would still hate him... Just like the dems would hate some one from the GOP.. its just politics and not skin tone.

It's just politics and doesn't really have any legs to stand on... Its no different than some of the ideas about Bush during his presidents y that you see swirling around the interwebs... he was behind 9/11, He stalled on katrina to kill the black people, iraq war was just a plow for something bigger and so on...

Incorrect.
Clinton was absolutely impeached.
Impeachment is a formal process in which an official is accused of unlawful activity. Clinton however was not convicted of a crime and was not removed from office.

Yes. He would, and he did. The thing the ignorant people don't understand is that his name on the ballot in 2008 was proof that he is American-born.

That this video still convinces people that Obama was born in Kenya speaks to the bias or level of ignorance of the people who apparently believe it as gospel truth.

it doesn't appear to me that it hurt him financially one bit. I thought Clinton was the Teflon man but Obama, not one thing sticks to him.
Clinton is a saint compared to Soros' puppet from Chi-town

There was only a debate with a fringe segment of the far right conservatives. Even John McCain his opponent knows he was born in Hawaii and is laughing at the clowns who continue to say otherwise.
Now assuming he wasn't born in the US for a moment. Did he not have to show his birth certificate before taking office? If he didn't, is it a conspiracy, that he was allowed to take office, even without showing proof? If so, who is behind it? Why wouldn't they just pick another candidate?
He did show it, to the satisfaction of the McCain campaign, the Federal elections committee and all reasonable Americans.
Like I said, I don't really care if he was born in the US or not....nor do I have an opinion as to if he was or not. I just wonder if he wasn't, why was he allowed to take office in the first place?

It isn't an opinion any more than is red a color an opinion. He was born here, it has been proven all the way to the screamers for the long form. Nothing will pacify those who truly just want to keep the fire going. This is the kind of stupid nonsense that will guarantee President Obama more votes with the independents. This argument makes the fringe right lunatics seem mainstream and that is really bad for the Republicans.

I think the most ridiculous part about birthers was the fact that the establishment wouldn't completely disavow them. For Christ's sake, how many times did a Republican congress official say, "Um, I totally don't know if Obama was born in the U.S. hurr hurr hurr"
How would people be reacting if there were any Democratic elected officials in Congress trying to pull that "9/11 was an inside job" bullshit? And yet, birthers got a pass from their party.
