He has to show his birth certificate because that is something they can make fun about him.. no it doesn't make a bit of sense but when has that ever stopped the republicans or the dems? Yeah I realize a member of congress interrupted the president as he spoke and you wont like this but I fully support the practice of that.. I dont agree with that congressmen or that the president was or is a liar.. But for too long we have treated how congress and president like they were royalty and wish we could have the same sort of relationship that the brits have in their government where they were free to speak any time they wanted.

I don't really don't have a dog in this race, but I am curious as to what is behind the door.

What I mean is, there has been a debate behind his birth place since before the election. IF....that's an IF, he wasn't born in the US, which is required by the constitution to be President. Wouldn't he have to prove it at some point? I can't get my fucking drivers license renewed without showing my birth certificate, I would imagine someone, at some point before he took office, would ask to see his birth certificate.

Now assuming he wasn't born in the US for a moment. Did he not have to show his birth certificate before taking office? If he didn't, is it a conspiracy, that he was allowed to take office, even without showing proof? If so, who is behind it? Why wouldn't they just pick another candidate?

Like I said, I don't really care if he was born in the US or not....nor do I have an opinion as to if he was or not. I just wonder if he wasn't, why was he allowed to take office in the first place?

It's just politics and doesn't really have any legs to stand on... There was only a debate with a fringe segment of the far right conservatives. Even John McCain his opponent knows he was born in Hawaii and is laughing at the clowns who continue to say otherwise.
