OK, let's see if this can get off the ground this time. we tried the fast werewolf game once, total failure, not enough people played. this was also back in the day when we could barely get 15 to 20 people to play a regular game, we now are getting close to 30.

again it is just a thought. it would go something like, i don't know, maybe 10 minute day rounds and 5 or 6 minute night rounds. or something like that, we can tweak it if people are interested. these games would be scored totally separate from the regular games. give me your thoughts.

Assuming 15-minute (complete) days, that's 2 kills per day, eight per hour (assuming no artifacts). With 24 players, that's about 90 minutes if the wolves win, maybe two hours if they lose. (Someone else can do the exact math; I'm too lazy.)

I don't see how there would be time to form teams, so each round would be just random voting. Plus, this is two hours that would have to be at a specific time of day which is convenient to all members, and since we have players spanning most of the globe, I'm not sure if that's possible.

Also, playing for two hours straight is just a little bit more than my bladder can handle. I would suggest that "no vote" means "no vote", not a vote for yourself. Otherwise, someone taking a few seconds too long to shake it dry could find himself dead when he returns.

I agree with Garision about it'd be hard finding a time everyone would be free for that long and I for one would find it hard to know for certain I'd be free for whole 2 hours if I was on road that day

10 minute days and 5 minute nights and you could cut that down also, I have never played WereWolf in real life but I have video's of it and it does not seem like the Villagers can form much of team in RL play either, who has played this in RL?

I think a Fast Werewolf would be interesting though, but it would be difficult in a forum- people would get so backlogged from all the posts it'd become a chore. So the longer one waits the worse the pile becomes.

Especially if they had to piss and missed something important.

kahlil does have a point. If we are going to try this, the forum may not be an ideal place. We may need to use IRC or an IM program (sorry moose), but I still imagine it will be pretty hectic.

What about a 3 day werewolf game.
No special roles just Villagers vs Werewolves.
Maybe 2 kills per day or 3 kills?
At the end of 3 days the team with the most players wins.

a weekend game would work best for a trial run.

Skype can always be used as well for the game if needed.

A 24 hour game and you get to vote every hour.

No special roles, just werewolves and villagers.

Of course you would need 3 days of spam leading up to this type of game.
