i looked at i don't know how many times. it looks like something was covering the manhole. not sure what it would have been. at one time i thought they hit a shopping cart.

It had to be some kind of charge w/ a mesh piece holding it. You can see it land next to the van at the end.
I'd thought at first that the manhole was uncovered and they hit it w/ a wheel but they straddled it.
