Now I will admit that the artwork on some is without doubt, really good. And the arm with the flesh peeling and the text showing through is very clever, but I always come back to the same thing. Why???

It's a style of life. I'm fine with people tattooing themselves. Hell, I'd like a few tattoos, but I don't have enough money, yet (and I don't want the $120 version).
As long as people don't enforce others to tattoo themselves and as long as people don't judge others based on their tattoos (or lack of ones!), I'm good.

Sadly society as a whole does look down on tattoos, and the wilder and more obvious the more distain is shown. Some go to extremes to create problems. I do not understand the attraction.
