You cannot play a UNDF file at all. UNDF means undefined file. It's corrputed. You can't convert it, or anything. You have to get a better copy of the video you want (be it illegal downloading or a legitimate purchase). Hope that helps. I know computer's too much.  .

Format Factory
has the option under "Advanced" to give you all the details about any video file.
and also you can use it to convert to avi or wmv or mp4.
its the fastest program I ever used and I recommend it.
edit: sometimes stupid people will change the file extension, but VLC should play such anyway so changing the file extension to .avi or .wmv from .undf probably wont help.
I have seen archive files, .z i p or .r a r posted as a video file extension. try unpacking them.
ps bluray rips are udf 2.5 or 2.6 format but VLC should play them I believe.

I have Nero, BS Player, VLC, GOM Player, KM Player, Media Player Classic and WMP.
you should too. throw all that at it.
but you do get lots of videos that wont play.
running them thru AutoGordian Knot, WMM, MediaCoder, Avidemux or Format Factory will fix them and also give the option to shrink image/file size.
but Format Factory is clearly the best of all.
Avidemux is sometimes best for .avi files with special features not found elsewhere.
sometime it is just quicker to download again tho.
video conversion is time intensive.
