I never said I can't stand him - I said he's cursed. I like him. I think it's about time he gets a cup I just don't think he will. Hossa doesn't leave teams to make more money, which would piss me off more than "cup chasing".
As a Pens fan, Hossa was here for 4 months. He doesn’t owe this town or the team anything. Hossa wasnt born in Pittsburgh, wasnt drafted by Pittsburgh and did not even play a half of a season in Pittsburgh. He did what he thinks is right for him. I'm not bitter about him leaving, and in fact I think we won the cup last year BECAUSE he left. If he hadn't left, we wouldn't have signed certain people and it would have been an entirely different team.
People need to lay off Hossa.

So, any thoughts on this years NHL awards. I found some of the voting rather laughable; especially if you look at some of the Lady Bing votes. Doesn't help the NHL.

The lady byng isn't the most prestigious award out there anyway, could'nt care less about who wins it... i was most please seeing Sedin winning the Hart over Ovechkin and Crosby !

I know the Bing is not much. But when you look at the votes for some I don't see how you can take any of the votes seriously; except for the Ted Lidsay which the players vote on - ovechkin took that one.

Glad the Red Wings signed Mike Modano to finish his career at home.
Something I just heard the other day and didn't really know. Back in 1996 when Darren McCarty kicked the shit out of turtle boy Lemeau (sp) he only got a 4 min roughing for that  and I do remember he scored the GW goal that day.
