Bush's grades were released. Actually, they were released without his consent. And, his grades weren't very impressive. Neither were Kerry's or Gore's.
On the birth certificate issue... Yes, I did want to see that long form. As I kept hearing about the "controversy" I researched myself and I did develop questions about what might be on the form. When someone doesn't release something, it does make you wonder "why?".
And, the same goes for Romney's taxes. I'm guessing he did what any of us would do - take deductions to lessen his burden. Its legal. what's the big deal? Release them, I say. And, just today, Obama's crew said they just wanted to see the last five years and they wouldn't ask for anymore. Hmmm, I wonder why? I'd guess they already know there's something in there that would be damaging to him.
If I'm Romney, I counter and ask Obama to release all of his college stuff. Put everything out on the table. Nothing to hide. You know, transparency, etc, etc.
In the end, it doesn't matter. I'd rather they focus on real issues. And, the fact that Obama wants to talk about ROmney's taxes tells me he doesn't want to focus on the economy because for nearly 4 years, its been terrible.

Is he spending money? He is doing exactly what GW43 did and it didn't bother you.
I actually agree with you on your logic comment, I just don't agree when it comes to the genesis of this type of campaigning. Republicans went out of their way to demand that President Obama was foreign born until proven otherwise, you included IS. You went round and round over the "long form" and why won't he just release it and end the story. Just prove you were born here Mr. President because someone on the other side of the aisle said you might not be. Suddenly this tactic is out of bounds when applied to Governor Romney? Come on brother.
