I've personally never understood that strategy. If they are on the Wolf Team, they should be in wolf discussions.

I think that arguments between players are normal and expected. Passion and intensity are fine but excessively personal attacks or insults are not. Even in a werewolf game you must respect the forum rules about civility.

Besides: Tim the Tool Man said: "You are expected to play to win. Intentionally sabotaging your team, or choosing strategies with the sole purpose of trolling other players in the game is not allowed."

Oh my god dude, you have NO idea.

I admit I was legitimately getting frustrated with the Villagers who weren't moving. Pretty much THE ONLY reason I messaged the villager team was because I knew that if we didn't ALL work in unison we were all going to die.

If I'd known I was going to get introduced to the villager team and the werewolf team (I am not faulting Lefty6t for this in ANY way, he did a good job and we suffered because of the game mechanics) I wouldn't have bothered contacting him and it would've been a slightly different game.

Werewolf Team had its no-shows, and Team Villager had its members who wouldn't get with the program. We were both hamstrung by team-members who didn't work together.

After the second day had passed though, Werewolf Team's no shows cost them more than Villager Team's cost us.

the only no show on the Wolf team was algodon sometimes for good reasons, others by throwing the game

You know, this post made me realize: whenever we're on the same team, one of us dies within the first 2 days (exception being Tron when you were the hunter and I was the guardian). Being on the same team as you is bad for my health!

Dude, the reason I wasn't pissed IN THE SLIGHTEST when we got into it was because I could TOTALLY put myself into your shoes. I was imagining what I would be thinking if I were on Team Werewolf and that shit was happening, you have no idea how much the "Aaaaaaand it's gone!" gif had me rolling.

Well, one problem I usually see with games like these are that by using new things, we need to find out the limits of some things and that can lead to tension. I know at the start of the Aliens game, we were told a couple different things by different mods.

On the other hand, by having so many things at play, it is very difficult to track all of them. The next time you try hosting, I'd recommend having maybe 3 mods so you can keep an eye out for different things, and make sure that everyone talks to one another to minimize confusion amongst other players and each other.

Then on a topic unrelated to this game, I was wondering if in the future, whenever the hunter is going to be used, if the host will mention which variant is being used: random.org kill attackers, choice kill attackers, or choice kill from ALL remaining players.

And one more note for future thought: there is a house rule that the games are set at -5 to make things more fair for the wolves as there is a written record of everything. I was wondering if we want to add a rule saying that there can be no more methods to save/interfere with night kills than there is the total number of wolves (exception being when a third party that can kill is played).

So if there are 5 wolves, there can only be 1 guardian, 1 diseased, 1 priest, 1 witch, and 1 scepter of rebirth at the start of the game(a total of 5 saves/interferes, and role changers don't count toward the total). If the number of saves/interferes gets crazy, I think the wolf team can be overwhelmed no matter how perfect their play is.

Reading the wolf team comments on how they had to ignore vital targets to focus on ones that can interfere with their kills makes me think this is too important to overlook. Not to mention with 2 guardians, and a guardian relic, it would be very possible for some players to be essentially immortal (ignoring mirrors). Maybe a guardian limit should be imposed as well.

You should be able to relate. You had the info, but the villager team ignored you. He had the info, but the wolf team ignored him. Like it or not, you two were walking in each others' shoes the entire game.

Obviously the taunting pushed me over the edge there but we had so many squandered opportunities and I had the burden of keeping everything to myself up until the last day.
