General Mayhem Rules

Welcome to the Mayhem. This is where you can talk about current events, your cat or whatever else doesn't seem to fit in the other forums. Get to know your fellow S&FFers!

There are a few rules that we expect everybody to abide by in here.

#1. Before starting a new thread, check to see if one already exists on that subject. Use the Search feature. When there are multiple threads on the same topic, they will be merged, or one will be closed or deleted. If a thread goes of on a tangent, the tangent will be split off into its own thread.

#2. If you feel you must bump a thread where the last comment posted was two or more months ago, then your bump-post must also add something to the discussion in that thread. Otherwise, your posts will be deleted and/or the thread will be closed.

#3. Check out the special interests forums! If you want to discuss anything related to any of the Special Interest topics, start your thread in that forum. If you want to ask a question - any question can go in Support/Feedback, but newbie-style questions are also welcome in Newbies R Us. Anything else that doesn't break the rules but doesn't fit into one of the other sections belongs in General Mayhem. If you really want to post nonsense, or are feeling a little "Spammy", check out "Purple Monkey Dishwasher". But be forewarned, your threads in that forum may be "Monkeyed" with.

#4. We love when debates get started here! Debates happen all of the time on these forums. Often they will spring from normal conversation and be split into another thread, and moved to The Master Debaters forum so that they can be CALMLY and INTELLIGENTLY debated. Unfortunately sometimes debates turn personal and people get offended and start fighting. We will not tolerate ANY personal insults or anyone blatantly stirring up trouble.

As in the case of the main Forum Rules, these rules may be modified, added to, or removed at any time.
