GAME RULES


1. Trust no one. Anyone could be a Werewolf. Putting your trust in another player is entirely up to you, but keep in mind that a Werewolf could betray your trust and kill you or use your trust to their advantage.

2. All Player Roles are completely random.

3. No screen shots period. These items can be easily faked by a skilled individual. Ever hear of Photo Shop? Not everyone has the skills or tools to fake these items, so to keep the game fair for all players, these items are BANNED from being done.

4. Quoting of PM's and IM's will be allowed with one exception, NO QUOTING OF ANY PM's FROM THE GAME HOST. THIS INCLUDES PM'S CONTAINING ROLE CARDS.

5. All Players must vote during the Day Round. Not voting is considered non-participation and players will be warned for each instance. After 3 warnings, players will be BANNED from playing permanently. The times of the Day Round are 12 noon to 11:00 PM Eastern Time (US&CANADA) (UTC-5). NO EXCEPTIONS. It is your responsibility to know these times for the time zone you live in. Any votes made after the time of the Day Round has passed, will not count. So for those people that like to post their vote at the last minute, be sure to leave enough time to vote or change your vote. NO EXCEPTIONS.

6. If a player casts their vote prior to the beginning of the Day Round, their vote will count as long as that player is not killed in the Night Round by the Werewolves. If they are killed, their vote is void.

7. Werewolf votes must be made during or prior to the Night Round as long as the Werewolf is not killed prior to the start of the Night Round. The times of the Night Round are 11:00 PM to 12 noon Eastern Time (US&CANADA) (UTC-5). NO EXCEPTIONS.

8. In the result of a tie in the Villager voting, BOTH PLAYERS ARE KILLED. THERE IS NO EXTENSION

9. The Seer may or may not be allowed a pregame Peek. This is dependent on the number of players playing (See Game Structure Section). The Seer can have 1 Peek every other night round starting with the second Night Round. The Seer's Peek must be made during or prior to the Night Round as long as the Seer is not killed prior to the start of the Night Round. The times of the Night Round are 11:00 PM to 12 noon Eastern Time (US&CANADA) (UTC-5). Seer Peeks will be revealed at the start of the Day Round. NO EXCEPTIONS.

10. The Guardian (if used) is allowed to protect 1 Villager each and every Night Round, but not the same person two nights in a row. The Guardian's Protection Pick must be made during or prior to the Night Round as long as the Guardian is not killed prior to the start of the Night Round. The times of the Night Round are 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM Central Time (US&CANADA) (UTC-6). NO EXCEPTIONS.

11. Once a player is killed in the game, they will not be allowed to communicate with the other players with regards to anything game related. That means, Werewolves cannot reveal their roles to any player, alive or dead, until the conclusion of the game & dead players cannot give advice or guidance to anyone still playing in the game. KEEP THE GAME FAIR FOR THOSE STILL PLAYING.

12. No divulging of game related information with anyone. KEEP THE GAME FAIR FOR THOSE STILL PLAYING.

13. For all games, the game host may end the game early or not, when one of the following conditions are met: 1. At any time when the number of Werewolves is equal to the number of players left for Team Villager. 2. All of the Werewolves have been killed.

14. All voting is done with adherence to the forum clock. The times for the Day Round are 12 noon to 11:00 PM Eastern Time (US&CANADA) (UTC-5) and the times for the Night Round are 11:00 PM to 12 noon Eastern Time (US&CANADA) (UTC-5). Players must vote within those times. Any and all votes made after time has passed, will not count. The game host may post "Voting Closed" as a courtesy, but all voting must be done within the prescribed time of the Day or Night Round.

15. Absolutely NO ONE is to make promises as to the effect of "If I'm a Wolf you can have mOOse BAN me" or "If I'm a Wolf, I'll never play Werewolf Game again". Anyone who makes such promises or any other promises that involve ADMIN or Forum MODs will be BANNED from the Werewolf Forum and maybe the Forums in general. 16. Anyone who votes "NO VOTE" or Fails to Vote, will have THEIR VOTE COUNTED AGAINST THEMSELVES!!

11:00 am CST - 10:00 pm CST
9:00 am PST - 8:00 pm PST
6:00 pm CET (Mim time) - 5:00 am CET (Mim Time)

Night round:
11:00 pm EST - 12 noon EST
10:00 pm CST - 11:00 am CST
8:00 pm EST - 9:00 am EST
5:00 am CET - 6:00 pm CET

If the vote time is :01 it WON'T be counted, forum time :00 is okay.

THERE IS NO TIME EXTENSION IN CASE OF A TIE.

Prometheus lands on the distant moon LV-223 on 2093 after making a 4 year voyage. The ship's crew traveled in stasis while the android David monitored their voyage.



They head off to explore the structure nearby.

Wherever there is a 'Choose a player', it should be chosen in public. And then the mods will do the stuff in public or in private. (Expect a delay of 2 hrs, don't do last minute choosings; although if a mod is online, he can do the work instantaneously).
But I'll let randy/BC correct me.

I was thinking something like this, please correct me:
Pendant of Pride - Post the name of a player in the game thread, mods will PM that player and the holder with the correct role
Prism of Power - Post the name of three players in the game thread, that night, werewolves will be able to kill only one of those.
Cauldron of Sorcery - Post the name of a player, mods will post publicly if he is a plain villager or not.
Talisman of Trouble - Holder announces and plays the card in the game thread, two lynching the next day round.
Breath of Old Man - Post the name of a player in the game thread, that player will die in the night after the next day round.
Scepter of Rebirth - If the holder gets killed, the amulet is revealed and he is saved.

Meaning, all of the amulets and holder will be revealed at one time or another.

I think most of the Artifacts are just like player roles, they are meant to be secret until they want to reveal them. Minus the scepter of rebirth, I would want to protect the secrecy of the player's role, the person themselves (people die early in these games and having them announce their artifact to everyone might make them stay around longer or die earlier), and the artifact in question. You don't have to tell anyone that the Prism was used or the breath of the old man, etc) People are very smart and very cunning in this game, and they will start to add the pieces together, and they don't need to

Prism of Power - Player PM the game hosts three picks. The game hosts then tells the wolves the Prism has been activated and they can only kill one of the three.
Cauldron of Sorcery - Again PM and reveal in the PM.
Talisman of Trouble - Holder PMs game host, then the game host announces to the rest of the players that two lynchings will take place. Breath of Old Man - Again, player PM's game host.
Scepter of Rebirth - If the holder gets killed, the amulet is revealed and he is saved.
